Spring Tour #1 - Review
Spring Tour Budweis 2026 @ Tomáš Král
The Spring Tour Kicks Off Across Europe
Budweis, CZE: Hometown Dominance
Women
In the Women’s Division, the narrative is defined by a powerhouse performance from 3SB (CZE). Playing on home turf, they took Pool B with authority, though they were pushed to their limits by a resilient Heidees (GER) side. In Pool A, East Block (CZE) silenced any doubters by comfortably winning over Catchup (AUT).
The Women's bracket saw a competitive final between local rivals.
The Final:3SB takes Gold over East Block.
Bronze Medal:Heidees secured 3rd place with a win over Catchup .
Lower Placements:Heroes Flying Disc (HUN) led the lower round-robin, followed by Outsiterz (SVK) and Ravens Wroclaw (POL).
Open
The Open Division saw 3SB (CZE) holding their expected lead, but all eyes are on the AIM (ROU) development squad. Their aggressive, high-motor style has them on a collision course for the top spot. In contrast, veteran clubs like Terrible Monkeys (CZE) and Outsisterz (SVK) suffered uncharacteristic slips, putting them in a difficult position for this season.
3SB claimed the tournament title with a 15–4 win in the final against their own 2nd team FUJ (CZE). AIM took 3rd place.

Padova, ITA: Chaos, Ties, and Close Competition
MIXED
The Mixed division in Padova has been defined by extreme parity and high-pressure finishing. While 16 teams entered, the focus has narrowed to the tactical battle between the UK and Austrian styles of play.
The chaos in Pool B was about managing point differentials. Deep Space (GBR)showed incredible mental resilience. After a staggering loss to the Leamington Lemmings (GBR), they had to shut down RedShot (ITA) to keep their season alive. They managed a 13-10 victory over the Italians, which provided just enough of a point cushion to claim the top seed on the tie-breaker.
Munich’s Zamperl (GER) was mentioned in the preview already. Their performance against Tiefseetaucher (GER) (a 14-13 loss) was arguably the highest-quality game of the day.
The game of the tournament was Tiefseetaucher vs Mosquitos (AUT) in the upper Power Pool. Germany’s Tiefseetaucher secured the Tournament win with a 14–13 victory on universe point.
Final Standings: 1. Tiefseetaucher, 2. Mosquitos, 3. Deep Space (UK), 4. CUS Padova Rangers (ITA).
Tiered Pool Results:Zamperl (GER) took Pool F (5th–8th) with a series of efficient wins, while Leftovers (CZE) topped Pool G (9th–12th) and OUT won Pool H (13th-16th)
Open
The Open division is functioning as a preview for the EUCF finals. While the traditional powerhouses are currently at the top, the "margin of victory" has shrunk significantly compared to 2025.
La Fotta (ITA) entered as the favourites, but they are no longer winning by landslide margins. Their 15-11 win over 360 Ultimate (ITA) was a wake-up call.
Cotarica Grandes (ITA) dominated their pool with clinical efficiency, but the story of Saturday is Jurassic Pack. Their 15-14 universe-point loss to Bad Skid was a nice effort. Despite finishing 3rd in their pool, their "expected win" metric is high, making them the team no one wants to draw in the crossovers.
The Open final was an all-Italian matchup. BFD La Fotta (ITA) defeated Cotarica Grandes (ITA) to take first place. The bronze medal went to Quijotes (ESP) following their victory over Catchup (AUT).
Placement Tiers:Bad Skid (GER) finished 5th after defeating Flying Angels Bern (SUI), while Heidees (GER) took 7th over ECHO. One Tribe (ITA) won the lower placement pool, finishing ahead of Jurassic Pack (SUI).
Angers, FRA: The French Heavyweights
In Angers, Iznogood (FRA) lived up to their #1 Seed in the tournament, dismantling opponents with clinical scores of 15-3 and 15-7. However, the local favourites, Magic Disc Angers (FRA), proved there are cracks in the armour, pushing the Parisians to a 13-12 universe-point thriller.
The French leg of the tour re-established the current domestic hierarchy. Iznogood took 1st place, maintaining their momentum from Saturday to defeat Tchac in the final stages. The final game of that pool, Iznogood vs Gentle (BEL),came down to a universe Point win for Gentle, which might help them long term for their season after the initial loss against Tchac. Gentle finally ended up 3rd. Lower Tier:Ranelagh (IRL) won Pool E, Magic Disc Anger (FRA) takes Pool F, and Smash’D (GBR)won the placement pool 10-12.
