Trnava Welcomes Europe’s Best at EYUC 2025

The European Youth Ultimate Championships U20 (EYUC 2025) will take place in Trnava, Slovakia from Sunday, August 3 to Saturday, August 9, 2025. Hosted at AŠK Slávia, the week‑long tournament will feature national U20 teams competing in Mixed, Women, and Open divisions. 

Key Dates & Format

  • Sunday, August 3: Opening ceremony Trojičné námestie Trnava with a flag parade and showcase match

  • Monday, August 4 – Friday, August 8: Group-stage matches in all divisions, starting at 09:00 

  • Saturday, August 9: Finals

Division Overview

All nine podium teams from EYUC 2023 in Padova are returning this year. Rosters will feature a mix of familiar faces from past competitions and exciting new debuts — both to the U20 level and the European youth scene as a whole.

U20 Women – Defending champions: France

Teams: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy

With 7 teams in a single round-robin pool, each team will play all others. The semifinalists will be defined by crossovers, while the remaining teams will play additional pool phase to determine final placements.

U20 Mixed – Defending champions: Switzerland

Teams: Belgium, France, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland

Larger pool structure with power‑pool and crossover phases followed by upper and lower brackets to determine placements.

U20 Open – Defending champions: Italy

Teams: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine

Similar to women’s but starting from two pools to crossovers and again both upper and lower brackets for placements.

    Set in a historic Slovak city, Trnava and its AŠK Slávia venue offer a compact, walkable environment with easy access to Bratislava and Vienna airports. High-quality fields and local charm await.

    EYUC is as much a cultural exchange as it is a tournament. From spirit circles to team friendships, expect a week filled with community connection, sport, and international camaraderie.

  2. Get to know the teams – Expect fierce yet friendly competition from youth national squads across Europe.

  3. Respect the sidelines – Please stay behind designated lines for player safety and to maintain field boundaries.

  4. Watch the feature fields – Livestream coverage will be available on live.ultimatefederation.eu, featuring 1 field with manual production and commentary and 4 fields on top of that with VEO.

  5. Soak in the experience – Check out local vendors, cultural sights, and team activities to fully embrace EYUC’s spirit.
