The final day of the second Spring Tour weekend has delivered on every promise.
Birmingham
Spice continued their rise; after topping their pool on Saturday, they dismantled LMU with comfortable efficiency to punch their ticket to the knockout stage.
The semifinals, however, were where the real sparks flew:
Iceni vs. Bristol: In a matchup many expected to see as the final, these two heavyweights went blow-for-blow. Bristol held the lead for much of the contest, but the composure of Iceni shone through at the end, clawing back to take a 13–12 universe point victory.
Spice vs. KFUM Örebro: On the adjacent pitch, the Swedes pushed Spice to the absolute limit. Spice managed to edge out an 11–10 win to secure their spot in the grand final.
Spice takes the win over Iceni in a very strong performance. They came back from 7:4 to close the tournament with a win (rewatch here) Bristol is taking the 3rd Place over KFUM Örebro.
