  • Solidsport stands at the forefront of sports streaming in Europe, being a leading sports OTT platform that is trusted by 20+ international and national federations, 5000 teams and clubs, and 500 tournaments that together broadcast over 100,000 games annually on their platform. With a "From Pay to Play" approach, Solidsport is not only about financing enabling sports events through live streaming - it's a dynamic ecosystem designed to contribute directly to the success and sustainability of their 5000+ sports broadcasters. By integrating a risk-free revenue-sharing model, Solidsport ensures that the passion and dedication showcased on our platform are reciprocated financially. This unique model has earned them trust and acclaim from federations, leagues, clubs, tournaments, and sporting events alike, with over 10,000,000€ generated back to all of those partners.

  • Go to our new platform and sign up to be up to date: https://live.ultimatefederation.eu

  • Every TV connected to the internet with a browsing function should have access to Solidsport. Apple TV/Chrome Cast/Solidsport App

  • Until now, the players have been covering the broadcasting costs through tournament fees. Within the last 3 years, these costs have doubled due to various reasons.

By moving the content, we hope to spread the cost across all viewers, relieving some of the financial burden for athletes to participate in EUF events. In return, it is the goal to increase the coverage to allow more access for viewers without increasing the costs for the participants.

We were given a choice between scaling down the streaming of our events in order to keep the streaming costs close to the ones we had in 2023 - or keeping the streaming (with the opportunity of expanding the overall coverage of fields) and moving behind a paywall. With the price changes in broadcasting over the last few years, we have been unable to see a financially sustainable path forward for the community.

Is it possible to see a sudden drop in prices right away? Not in the magnitude one might want, but we are able to keep the prices at the same level or even lower than last year (e.g. Elite Invite).

  • We will partner with various production companies to deliver an entertaining product. We are also in contact with ULTI.TV about producing in 2024.

The income via the paywall will primarily cover the broadcasting costs. Through Solidsport we have access to a broad network of journalists, TV channels and potential sponsors which allows for extra exposure plus an opportunity to generate more financial support from outside of the community.

  • The income via the paywall will primarily cover the broadcasting costs. We are working on other opportunities with existing and new partners to finance the broadcast. As a non-profit organisation the EUF will invest profits into the community and the development of the sport.

  • Yes, we are selecting specific games and will be informing the community about these in the near future.

  • We will have Video-on-demand on Solidsport and, at a later stage, also on other platforms. We are currently working on the details and the timeline for this topic.

  • We will offer our platform for other competitions as well. This offer should allow them to finance the broadcast for their tournament. With Solidsport we are able to build a platform for European Ultimate where every tournament can join and bring their games to be watched.

  • We will offer our platform for other competitions as well - currently, we have no additional competitions available.

  • The main difference is where you can watch the games. With our partnership with ULTI.TV, we focused on having the games available on YouTube free to watch for everyone.

With our partnership with Solidsport, we focus on reducing the financial burden for the athletes while maintaining and increasing the broadcasting. By creating a revenue stream, Solidsport allows us to raise resources directly to develop EUF events and our sport.

  • The EUF and the community are the focus of the new partnership. The content belongs 100% to us. We won’t lose any games in the company archives anymore. We are in charge of deciding who produces our content and how we want to handle it.

  • We will continue expanding our efforts to promote the sport through the channels we have used in the past, like social media, websites, etc.

Since we want more coverage in general, we believe we also have more opportunities for individuals who are only interested in specific games and teams.

We will have individual games and free-to-watch content as well.

  • We are currently looking into three packages:

    • Single Game Purchase

    • Tournament Pass

    • Season Pass

We are in the final stages of identifying the prices and will inform you as soon as possible.

  • Yes, we want to release the games for everyone to watch after a certain time - we are still defining the exact timeline on this.

  • We definitely want to give the opportunity to have access to games for special occasions. We are still defining what that exactly means and how this is technically solvable.

Games will become free to watch after a certain time (we are finalizing the timeline on this still)

  • We plan not to go away from ULTI.TV - our goal is to have our big tournaments streamed by ULTI.TV with the knowledge they developed over the years. With our broadcasting partner, we can pay them fairly without putting these costs for the tournament participants.

  • Yes - we can add many more languages if we have the commentators.

  • Absolutely! We continue to be in charge of how games will be selected.
