EUCF Bid distribution

Dear EUF Members!

Dear Team Managers of the teams already registered in the EUCS Season 2023!

The EUCS2023 season starts this weekend with 4 Spring Invites, with 75 teams attending:

  • Padova for Mixed, Women and Open

  • Warsaw for Mixed

  • Leuven for Open

  • London-Area for Women

These invites will assign 1 Wildcard for the EUCF 2023 in Wroclaw on Sept. 28th - Oct. 1st 2023 to the tournament winner in each division.

Two (2) further wildcards per division will be assigned to the finalists of the Elite Invite 2023 in Bern (May 27-29).

The remaining EUCF bids will be assigned as usual through the EUCRs.

As in the last year the EUF decided to merge some regions in certain divisions, running a single qualification tournament. An additional EUR has been created to support the development of mixed ultimate in the South East area

The EUF competition committee has defined the following bid distribution and tournament locations (missing location will be amended in the next few weeks).

The bids per nations for the various EUCRs will be published in a few weeks.

Teams will get a bid according to the last available ranking in their national championship, regardless if they have already registered in the EUCS2023 and attended an EUF Invite or not.

The EUCS Rostering Rules 2023 will apply throughout the season also for teams that will just register prior to the EUCR.
