Background ultimate federation

In 2020, EUF will organise 2 Mixed EYUCups; one in the northeast, one in southwest.

While Youth Women and Mens teams may compete at WJUC in Sweden, EUF will use the "off year" to keep it up with the mixed divisions which saw this division for the first time at the EYUC 2019. EYUC 2021 will have all three divisons (Women/Open/Mixed) in each age group (U17/U20).

You can find the "call for bids" document here; we invite potential hosts to contact us!

The rules for EYUCups are:
- real mixed
- general EUF youth eligibility rules
- a nation may send more than one team per division.

EYUCups are designed to enable as many kids as possible to play at an international event. For this, we try to keep the costs and efforts as low as possible. This will be achieved by splitting into two events to reducing the duration and travel costs.
The Mixed division was seen as a great success by all participants in 2019 and we want to keep the momentum. We expect quite a range of approaches in the participating teams: some are preparing already for EYUC 2021, others may just want to give as many players as possible international exposure. Other nations may struggle to get a young women or open team together but do have enough players to play mixed.
As the duration is only 3-4 days, players might even do the double this summer: WJUC and EYUCup.
